Healthwatch Croydon Awarded "Committed to Quality" Marque

Healthwatch Croydon have acheived Healthwatch England's Quality Framework marque, highlighting our values and commtted to producing the highest quality of service for our stakeholders and local Croydon residents.

This award is a proud moment for the Healthwatch team, who have strived to represent the patient voice over the last ten years, ensuring better health equality for served and underserved communities in Croydon. With this marque we will proudly display our achievement across our website and reports for the next three years. 

 

As a result of the work we have produced to achieve this marque, we will produce a 12 month action plan in partnership with Healthwatch England to further enhance the quality and strategic focus of out work, special thanks to Edwina Morris Healthwatch Croydon Chair and Gordon Kay Healthwatch Croydon Manager in helping to complete this process. Croydon residents feedback on their experience of the Purley Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) and New Addington CDC opening July 2025

Healthwatch Croydon was commissioned by Croydon Health Services NHS Trust to better understand the experiences of patients at Purley Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) which is a new set of services launched at Purley War Memorial Hospital from January 2024. Insights from which would inform potential needs and unidentified opportunities for the New Addington CDC due to open in July 2025. The team surveyed 120 patients within Purley CDC and sought insight from 50 residents in New Addington, ten from focus group, and 40 from a survey. All insight was undertaken between February and March 2025.
