About this event
Islamophobia Awareness Month is an important opportunity to show solidarity with our Muslim communities in croydon.
Following the far-right riots nationwide in the summer of 2024 and amid reports of rising Islamophobia in the UK, November gives us all a chance to educate ourselves about the many ways that such racial or religious bigotry, discrimination and prejudice manifests in our society.
Croydon Council has a Say No to hate Pledge that aims to strengthen our community and work with you to make Croydon a safe and welcoming borough.
The “Say No to Hate” Safer Croydon Partnership pledge has been created so individuals and organisations can reinforce the borough’s commitment to reduce and tackle hate crime in our borough by taking a zero tolerance approach to hate in Croydon.
Croydon Council is inviting you to sign the “Say No to Hate” Safer Croydon Partnership pledge.
