Let's quit smoking together this Stoptober

Stoptober is back, calling on smokers in England to join the 2.5 million others who have made a quit attempt previously.
Stoptober

13.5% of adults in Croydon were recorded as smoking in 2022, with smoking remaining the main cause of preventable illness and premature death in our borough.

Stoptober is back and Croydon residents are encouraged to come together to take on the challenge of quitting smoking for good.  With the right support, stopping smoking becomes much easier, and help is available every step of the way.

During October there will be information stalls in the borough, where smokers can stop by to get help quitting.

Stoptober offers a range of free quitting tools including the NHS Quit Smoking app, daily email support, Facebook support group, information about quitting smoking with a vape and expert support from local stop smoking services.

Live Well Croydon is a one to one service that works with local residents who need that little bit of extra support to make healthy changes in their lives. Qualified advisers will guide you through your quit journey over a 12 week period.
