Healthwatch Croydon is your champion for health and social care, but we can only achieve our aims with your help.
Our events and outreach
By taking part in our events, you will get the opportunity to share your views and experience on specific theme or key issue and discuss these other residents and commissioners (buyers) and providers of services
We also run a series of outreach sessions in the community at hospitals, GP surgeries, libraries, community health centres and public festivals. This is a great opportunity to share your views and feel part of the wider Croydon community
Patient Experience Panel/ Information events – alternate Friday mornings
We meet every Friday alternating with the Patient Experience Panel (PEP) and information events about services or community groups in Croydon. The PEP gives residents the opportunity to help analyse and code the data we receive to help our research. Participants find out they learn a lot about issues as result.
Our information events give the opportunity to explore some issues in more detail or meet local or national community or health organisations in an interesting and friendly environment.
This meets every three months to discuss a relevant theme or issue over a two-hour session, and sometimes with a guest presenter. See the previous Forums in the calendar.
We sometimes have some projects where we need your help or input as a resident.
The NHS in south west London is putting together a plan of how to improve services over the next 5 years and they will be attending the events or activities to talk to people that they don’t normally hear from to hear their experiences and discuss some ideas as to how things could be improved. This fund for the borough of Croydon is provided by South West London Collaborative Commissioning and administered by Healthwatch Croydon.
