Healthwatch Croydon responds to Foxley Lane decision by NHS Croydon CCG
The NHS Croydon CCG Governing Body made the decision yesterday to close the Foxley Lane women’s mental health unit. Healthwatch Croydon acknowledge the current financial situation at the CCG. However, there was strong public opinion during engagement that the proposed services are not an effective substitute for what is currently being provided. Therefore, we will follow the changes closely to see that the assurances given maintain an effective service reflecting previous positive patient experience.
