The Healthy London Partnership invite you to comment on their Urgent and Emergency Care (U&EC) Programme proposals.
The partnership which is made up of Public Health England, NHS England, 32 London-based clinical commissioning groups, London Councils and the Mayor, see www.myhealth.london.nhs.uk/healthy-london/about-healthy-london-partnership, has presented draft facilities specifications services in London, and you can view all the presentations from a recent forum at www.londonsenate.nhs.uk/2015/07/09/senate-forum-july-2015
These specifications aim to help the NHS in London deliver co-ordinated, consistent, high quality services. They refer to Urgent Care Centres (UCC), Emergency Centres (EC), Emergency Centres with Specialist Services (ECSS) and the U&EC system that links these facilities together. UCCs encompass Walk-in Centres, Minor Injuries Units, GP-led Health Centres and all other similar facilities.
Please see below an updated version of the specifications taking on recent feedback into account for your information and review.
The Healthy London Partnership welcomes comments, please return these by Monday 17th August 2015 to chris.mcnicholas@nhs.net and click us in info@healthwatchcroydon.co.uk as we would like to know your ideas as well.
The intention is for them to then be agreed and signed off in autumn 2015. They will then be used by U&EC networks in inform the development of services for London.
