Fund your event through the Grassroots programme
Would you like to run an activity/event for local people that is fun AND allows local health (NHS) and care services to speak to individuals about their experiences of health services?
If yes, then read on…
We are offering funding to local organisations and groups to run an activity or event, enjoyable to their local community that we can attend and speak to people about their experiences of using local health and care services.
A maximum of £750 per event is available.
Example events include tea dances; pottery classes; pizza and movie afternoons, cultural activities etc.
Colleagues from the NHS will attend these events/activities and spend part of the time talking to local people about their experience of using local health and care services.
When should events start?
Events to start from mid-June 2018 with all events/activities to be held by the beginning of September 2018.
Applications should be made at least six weeks before the proposed event to ensure that the NHS is able to attend.
