Jai Jayaraman - Interim Chief Executive Officer
Jai has a nineteen-year career in both third sector organisations and private sector companies. He spent seven years as Chief Executive Officer of Lambeth Mediation, where he ensured the charity’s sustainability in delivering community cohesion services. Jai has also worked for Oxfam and Amnesty International.
Yinka Alowooja - Executive Assistant
Yinka is a dynamic professional with over ten years’ experience coordinating office management and special projects with a high degree of efficiency within NHS, government departments, and project management environments. She has worked for NHS Property Services validating invoices and process schedule payments and was an Interim Project Support Officer at NHS East London and City. Yinka studied Marketing at London Metropolitan University and possesses a combination of finance, marketing and project management skillsets. At Healthwatch Croydon her role is to deliver executive support to the CEO, Board Members, Advisory Forum, and is the first point of contact for client enquiries.
Gordon Kay - Marketing Officer
Gordon is a marketing communications professional with over 17 years’ experience working in higher education, medical and healthcare, international education and tourism. As a full member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and Chartered Marketer, he has had significant experience in all aspects of the marketing and communications process through planning, implementation and delivery. He has previously worked at Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS), University of Brighton, Study Group and VisitBritain.
Darren Morgan - Community Analyst
Darren brings with him eight years of experience at Healthwatch and Local Involvement Networks in London and around the country. As part of his role at Healthwatch Croydon, Darren will be analysing the experience of local health and social care service users, so that we have the insight and evidence to affect real change.
Robyn Bone - Project Assistant
Robyn is a project support assistant and will be collecting patient experience and views in the community. Robyn recently graduated from Croydon College with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health and Social Care having retrained after raising her family. Robyn has experience as both a service user and in the provision of services in Croydon, having lived, worked and studied here. Her previous roles were in care, substance misuse and public health settings in the borough for a range of services.
